Smithfield Preston Foundation
The Smithfield Preston Foundation was established to provide funding stability for the preservation and interpretation of historic properties, with the approval of the local and state Preservation Virginia. The Foundation aspires to enlighten our community, especially our children and the generations to follow, by fostering renewed awareness and honest memories of those who built this region and nation, and to provide a cultural anchor for southwestern Virginia through this historic house.
Contributions to the Smithfield Preston Foundation help to:
- reconstruct and preserve additional buildings and sites
- expand and enhance interpretive programs and exhibits
- maintain buildings, grounds, and artifacts
